ACS Says YES to Environmental Responsibility!
Environmental Awareness and Responsibility is one of Art Communication Systems top priorities. As a commercial printing company it is part of our mission and philosophy to promote social responsibility for our natural resources.
As an example we have obtained Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Chain of Custody certification through the Rainforest Alliance. The Forest Stewardship Council is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. The Rainforest Alliance is an international organization that works to conserve biodiversity and insure sustainable livelihoods.

To become FSC certified ACS must demonstrate the ability to keep FSC Chain of Custody certified products separated and easily recognized from the time the paper is order right up to delivery to the customer.
Because of this certification we are able to print the FSC and Rainforest Alliance™ labels on any job that is designated and produced as an FSC job. This is something that only FSC Chain of Custody Certified printers can do. This provides our clients with an option to communicate their commitment to the environment by printing their job as an FSC product. Purchasing FSC products ensures that the paper used for these projects comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefit.
Why use FSC certified paper?
FSC certification rewards companies that use accepted forestry practices with certification; this lets the consumer know the products they’re considering to purchase come from renewable and well-managed resources.
The FSC program is so unique that consumer groups, individual consumers and businesses can work together, hand in hand, to promote responsible use of the world’s forests as a renewable and managed resource.
