UCP Gift Wrap 2017 A warm thank you to our generous community of supporters-- and to all our amazing volunteers-- who had a hand in any of these events! Following a two-week rain postponement, and despite the distraction of a once-in-a-lifetime solar eclipse, a good time was once again had by all who made it out to Carlisle Country Club on August 21. Between the tournament proceeds and silent auction donations, the event grossed $37K. The Highmark Walk raised over $352,000 for 48 nonprofts in Central PA in 2017. Nearly 100 walkers raised over $4,300 for UCP alone. In addition to live and silent auctions, this year’s event featured guest auctioneers from ABC27, and a live bat signing by Harrisburg Senators star Drew Ward! Sports Auction 2017 grossed $36K in support of life without limits for people of all ages and abilities. Nearly 200 guests enjoyed “Celebrating Our Miracles” at Hershey Country Club on March 11. The event grossed over $85,000 in support of UCP programs and services. Special thanks to event sponsors George and Cathy Sweeney and to all those who helped make MN17 such a tremendous success! UCP” Mini-Golf Tournament The Tournament will feature teams moving from establishment to establishment in down- town Harrisburg to play a custom mini-golf hole while enjoying food and drinks.
