In particular, what authorities are comparable to ours in terms of system size and services that we could reach out to for advice?” Authorities Match Up features profiles of our members and their systems, designed to help authorities connect with peers who operate similar-sized authorities or provide comparable services. By learning about fellow members’ experiences and expertise, you can identify potential mentors, collaborators, or advisors who may be able to offer guidance relevant to your own challenges and opportunities. We encourage members to reach out to one another to share insights, discuss best practices, and build meaningful professional relationships that benefit both your organizations and the communities you serve. About Warminster Municipal Authority (WMA) The Warminster Municipal Authority is located in Warminster Township, Bucks County, PA, and has a population of approximately 34,000. The Authority was formed in 1953 when it was created as a water only Authority by the Warminster Township Board of Supervisors under the then new State Municipalities Authorities Act. In 1955, we were serving 200 customers and by 1957, we had expanded to 1100 customers. The Authority entered the sewage treatment field in 1959, and by 1964 we were servicing 4,000 customers. Lately in 2021, we added stormwater management to our responsibilities. We take pride in managing these three crucial utilities for the health and welfare of our community. Our commitment, then and now, is to serve the needs of our customers in a responsible and prudent manner. During our 72-year history, it is a commitment that has been lived through action and dedication by each successive Board member, professional consultant, and dedicated staff member. It is a commitment which underscores our past, directs our present and frames our future. The most valuable things we offer are the ability to bring the highest quality service, our promise to continue serving our customers with the same high caliber capability, our vow to keep rates as low as possible without compromising the excellence of our system, and our commitment to safeguard the health and welfare of our customers by remaining on the leading edge of environmentally-sound water, sewage treatment, and stormwater technology.
