M anageMent W orkshop s pring r egional M eetings Held annually, two in-person management workshops were offered (East and West locations) this Spring and also virtually providing training for authority managers, administrators, board members, and consultants. They addressed project financing overview and updates, DEP updates on the Lead and Copper Rule and Per-and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) substances in sewage sludge, purchasing with Department of General Services COSTARs Program, and timely legislative and regulatory issues facing authorities and the communities they serve. PMAA Regions 6 and 7 Spring meeting on April 17 th with special guest PA State Representative Jim Struzzi (District 62). Each of the 10 PMAA regions are invited to host a meeting twice a year - in the Spring and Fall. These locally-based meetings provide an opportunity to interact and meet your neighboring PMAA member authorities, to get member updates, hear from local providers, engage with local legislators, and obtain education important to the industry.
