C ommuniCAtions C ommittee P MAA includes more than 500 associate (vendor) members who provide critical products, services, technology, and expertise that support authority operations. Through the annual conference, educational events, regional meetings, and more, authorities have countless opportunities to meet, connect, and build meaningful relationships with vendors and cultivate trusted partnerships. This issue of The Authority shares stories of trust and shared goals between authorities and vendors and the long-term relationships they have established. As one member notes (p. 6), “. . . I have found that some of the most successful projects are not defined by the products purchased, but by the relationships developed. The ability to work with vendors who understand our operations, respond to our needs, and remain committed to our long- term success is invaluable.” This issue highlights how associate members, through their expertise, dedication, and collaborative spirit, solve problems and improve authority operations – and everyone benefits. Thank you associate members for being an essential part of what makes authorities and this Association strong.
