According to the results generated, RES initially concluded the Cooperative should receive a reduction of 700,300 lbs. for the prospective project sites; and, upon completion of the projects, the cooperative projected a reduction of 812,785 lbs. (Veterans Park, Pine Apartment Complex, and Shutt Mill Park), above the original estimate of 573,252 lbs. The Cooperative and PennDOT continued the partnership and entered into a First Amendment to the Contribution Agreement for a second project, and Cooperative costs share was $1,500,000. RES was awarded this second project, selecting the Stray Winds Park stream restoration with an estimated sediment reduction of 697,378 lbs., RES completed this stream restoration project in January of 2025. The table below represents the final MS4 report to the PADEP achieving compliance above the required 1,694,398 lbs. in sediment reductions.
