He then moved to Baker-Wibberley and Associates as a sanitary engineer and completed a business management degree at Frostburg State University while there. Prior to starting EEMA, he worked for Betz-Converse-Murdoch in multiple positions from Project Engineer to Senior Techni- cal Consultant and PSC Environmental Services as a Principal Engineer. He was a graduate of Tufts University, Class of 1969, with a BSCE (Sanitary Option) and completed graduate studies in sanitary engineering at Tufts University. Ed played football and was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Ed earned many accolades and awards for his work, both for his development of the generations of operators he trained and for his influence in the management of wastewater treatment plants. Beginning in 1980, Ed was the recipient of the State of Pennsylvania Award for dedication to classroom instruction of plant operators. In 1983, Ed received the Eastern PA WPCOA Award for dedication to personnel Continued on page 65.
